LEADERSMEETING@PARIS celebrates 10th anniversary

For the tenth year running, communications agency Bepublic is organising LEADERSMEETING@PARIS, a networking event in Paris focusing on Belgian entrepreneurs, politicians and top-level guest speakers to provide inspiration. For this anniversary edition, guests will include minister Maggie De Block, entrepreneur Roland Duchâtelet and psychiatrist Dirk De Wachter. The central theme will be the Purpose Economy.

The LEADERSMEETING@PARIS networking event, organised in collaboration with De Tijd and L’Echo, is gathering top managers from various sectors in Paris, to discuss current social issues with one another. For this year’s tenth anniversary edition, the organisers opted for the purpose economy as their central theme.

“In today’s society, it is no longer enough for businesses to just make a profit. People are looking for a deeper meaning, to give purpose to their lives. Therefore companies must have a clear goal in order to justify their existence.”

– Carine Grevendonk, organiser of LEADERSMEETING@PARIS

Prominent speakers

Key to the event are ten top speakers to inspire attendees with their insights. This year, the organisers have arranged for keynotes by minister for public health Maggie De Block, entrepreneur Roland Duchâtelet, general manager of Flanders Investment & Trade Claire Tillekaerts, climatologist Jean Pascal van Ypersele, online entrepreneur Zhong Yuan Xu, CEO Paul Dujardin van Bozar, psychiatrist Dirk De Wachter, singer-songwriter Frederik Sioen and radio producer Sven Ornelis.

“That’s what this annual weekend is all about: stimulating managers from various sectors to think about important social issues, while also making relevant contacts with kindred souls.”

-Jeroen Wils, organiser of LEADERSMEETING@PARIS

More than 200 participants are to attend this – sold-out – anniversary edition. The weekend event will take place between Friday 23 and Sunday 25 November 2018, in The InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotel.
